Create Reminders in Google Calendar

You can add reminders in Google Calendar. Reminders carry over to the next day until you mark them as done. For example, if you create a reminder to make a restaurant reservation, you'll see the reminder each day until you mark it as done.

Create a reminder

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. Click an empty slot in your calendar.
  3. In the box that pops up, click Reminder.
  4. Type your reminder, or choose a suggestion.
  5. Choose a date, time, and frequency.
  6. Click Create.
Note:
If you've hidden your reminders calendar, or are showing the Tasks calendar instead, you won't see the option to create a reminder.
